GTFC U13 Youth face their first away game of the season on Sunday, with a local derby against AFC Barwell Ravens. The two teams know each other well, having played against each other five times over the last two seasons at 9 a side. Last season saw each team gain a 3-1 victory, and matches between the sides are generally competitive affairs.

GTFC have played two games this season, starting with a narrow 2-1 defeat to GNG Tigers and losing 6-1 last week to Division E side Aylestone Park 94 in the County Cup, although the scoreline was quite harsh on GTFC. Barwell started with a 1-0 against Quorn Terriers, before losing 10-0 to an impressive NKF Burbage side in the League Cup and then beating Belton Villa Minikickers on penalties in the County Cup. This match will be of interest to the GTFC U13 Boys team, who face Barwell in the next round on 6th October.
